I had a 2012 which I sold 2 months ago for $18,000

So they hold their value for sure, considering I only paid $29,000 for it new off the trailer.

The reason I sold it though is the aforementioned displacement on demand issue, which on my generation was not something that could be repaired with simple programming.

All I did was keep the fluids at the right level and the brake pads thick. It did need a set of shocks when I sold it. I also had to replace the driver's side door wiring harness for an airbag sensor issue, and the main driver's side door pull crumbled internally so you had to use the other pull nearer to the hinge. Despite all that I still got 18 cash. If it wasn't for the displacement on demand time bomb it would still be sitting in the driveway.
